Jeff Lucas
Jeff Lucas is the President and Founder of Yield Clothing Co., a socially responsible company with a cause. Jeff created a unique business model for Yield that operates from two distinct platforms. Yield’s “Fashion with Purpose” offers the best in quality, fashion and fit while upholding high moral and value standards in every product made. “Purchase with Purpose” was created to share profits from each sale to help children around the world, and provide hope to the hopeless. Last year, Yield reached over 200,000 children in 25 countries around the globe.
Jeff began his career over 20 years ago with J.C. Penney Company, Inc. where he held various positions. He then moved to Oshman’s Sporting Goods where he served as Vice President of Merchandising, and helped lead the successful turnaround and sale of the company to Sports Authority. Jeff then assumed the position of Sr.Vice President of Gen-X Sports, Inc., a corporate umbrella that owned and acquired sporting goods companies. He was instrumental in the growth and subsequent sale of the company to Huffy Corporation.
Disillusioned and wanting more, Jeff left the corporate world to explore new ways of doing business. Yield was born out of this shift in perspective.

Jeff’s travels over the years have opened his eyes to struggles for life that millions of children face each day. He believes every life matters and that each of us can make a difference. Jeff Maddox
September 11, 2001, changed a lot of lives. The events of that day weighed heavily in the heart of Jeff Maddox, then a sophomore in high school. He felt an earnest calling to be a part of America’s armed forces and eventually enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. During the five years that followed, Jeff would achieve the rank of Sergeant, become a squad leader of 16 Marines and serve in Iraq, where he received a Navy commendation medal. While serving at King’s Bay, Jeff was awarded Marine of the Year as well as the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, recognizing his stellar accomplishments and excellence.
The activities of those 5 years changed Jeff’s life and helped him develop. He was 18 years old when he became a Marine and 23 when he was honorably discharged. Throughout that period of time, he learned about strategy and tactics and become well versed in discussions with fellow Marines on issues they faced, as individuals and as a team. He transformed his body as well his mind, and emerged stronger, faster and more perceptive as he returned to his hometown.
A native of Dallas, Texas, Jeff returned to the Lone Star state in the summer of 2009, with a commitment to continue the standards of excellence he established for himself as a Marine. He learned of the Millions From One campaign, and inquired about how he might contribute his time and energy. MFO had considered an idea for a domestic cause to supplement the international focus of MFO. Jeff came up with the idea of contributions for families of service men and women wounded in war or in need of financial assistance called Yield America. Jeff directs the assistance for many families in acquiring wardrobes and clothing. It’s part of his commitment to giving back, a personal philosophy he’s embraced since his experience as a Marine.
Making a difference is what matters to Jeff, and he is an entrepreneur now, working on projects that will leave the legacy of a better world. He is interested in all aspects of life – working out, biking, sports and the arts. He is completing his undergraduate education and focusing on business and marketing. A model Marine and a model citizen, Yield Clothing Company salutes Jeff and his background of service and is pleased with his involvement in Millions From One.
